After retiring, Baryn Futa found a new calling in the fine arts while working with the Denver Art Museum. His passion for contemporary art, especially time-based media, led him to immerse himself in the field through classes, art fairs, and museum visits. As a patron, he supports artists, helping them navigate the challenges of their profession. Futa’s expansive collection, occasionally loaned to exhibitions, allows the public to enjoy his curated works. A member of The Guggenheim, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The Jewish Museum, Futa’s late start in the arts proves that passion can flourish at any age.
